Dr. D. Jayachandran
Dr. D. Jayachandran, Executive Director of Muralya Dairy Products Pvt Ltd, is a pioneer in the Indian dairy Industry and played a pivotal role in building Muralya Dairy. After earning his Veterinary Science degree from the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Thrissur, in 1976, he began his career with a GCMMF-affiliated co-operative. In 1982, he joined the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, playing a key role in implementing Operation Flood II and building MILMA — the biggest co-operative in Kerala. In 1989, he was among 15 professionals selected by the Ministry of Science & Technology to pioneer Embryo Transfer Technology (ETT), and one among the 4 professionals identified by the National Dairy Development Board in the country to implement ETT, successfully producing Kerala’s first ETT-born calves. He went on to serve as Managing Director of the largest fully automated cattle feed plant in South India, Managing Director of Meat Products of India, and Managing Director of Milma–Malabar Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union, before joining and building Muralya Dairy.
Mr. Shashi Kumar Menon
Shashi Kumar Menon, the Chief Executive Officer of Muralya Dairy Products Pvt Ltd since 2018, is a seasoned leader with extensive expertise in setting up greenfield dairy projects, including farms, processing facilities, and distribution networks. With over two decades of experience in the dairy and FMCG sectors, he previously held key roles at Al Ain Farms for 13 years, including Acting CEO and COO, leading the UAE’s largest local dairy producer. His career also spans senior positions at Al Sayer Group and Food Specialities, where he managed renowned brands and expanded markets across the Gulf. Known for his strategic vision, multicultural team management, and commitment to equitable business practices, he continues to drive Muralya Dairy’s growth and innovation.
Mr. Kesavan Muraleedharan
Kesavan Muraleedharan, Managing Director of Muralya Dairy, has built a thriving UAE-based hospitality empire with over 50 restaurants and 2,000 employees, starting from humble beginnings as an accountant. His ventures, including SFC Plus, India Palace, and Muralya Dairy, have earned prestigious awards and transformed industries in both the UAE and India. Beyond business, his philanthropic efforts through the Muralya Foundation have uplifted communities, funding education, healthcare, and social welfare initiatives. A key figure in multiple social and business organizations, he has received numerous honors, including recognition by Forbes and the NRI of the Year award, cementing his legacy as a leader committed to both business excellence and social impact. Mr. Muraleedharan founded Muralya Dairy Products with the vision of establishing a world-class, fully backward-integrated dairy company delivering international-quality products in India.
Mr. Hari M S Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hari M S
Hari M S, our Chief Financial Officer, is an accomplished finance professional with over 26 years of experience in financial management, auditing, and ERP implementation. A Chartered Accountant (ICAI, India), Certified Management Accountant (ICMA, USA), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA, USA), he has a strong background in strategic financial planning, risk management, and compliance. Based in Thiruvananthapuram, Hari previously served as Director of Finance at Algosaibi Services Company Limited, where he held key leadership roles for over two decades, overseeing financial operations across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. His expertise includes P&L management, process optimization, internal controls, and financial reporting. He has played a pivotal role in ERP system implementation, mentoring cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory adherence. Hari’s auditing experience with Varma & Varma and Haren & Paul has further strengthened his proficiency in financial consultancy, tax audits, and corporate governance.

End to end cold chain and Quality control

Every drop of milk we collect is rigorously tested and stored in chilling centers before being transported in insulated tankers to our plant, ensuring optimal temperature and freshness throughout the journey.
Our distribution fleet and sales depots are equipped with cooling units to maintain milk at optimal temperatures, before being placed in retail outlets. We strictly adhere to an 8-step cold chain process to ensure the freshness and quality of our products.

State-of-the-art, fully automated dairy plant

Located in Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram, our dairy plant features German technology integrated with SCADA for precise production control. Automation ensures consistent quality by managing parameters like temperature and pressure, minimizing manual handling risks and enhancing food safety. Milk undergoes stringent quality checks before being pasteurized, homogenized, and packed directly without human touch, ensuring the highest levels of freshness and purity.

Milk sourced from our Own Farm and farmer network

Located near the serene town of Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu, our modern dairy farm spans over 200 acres, featuring state-of-the-art facilities and an automated milking parlour. We grow our own lush maize to nourish our herd, setting a benchmark for excellence in animal welfare and hygiene.
In addition to our farm, we source milk from a trusted network of over 6,000 farmers in surrounding villages, each rigorously monitored to uphold our stringent quality standards. Our commitment to traceability ensures every drop of milk can be traced back to its source with all quality parameters.
